Our very own Tina Melbourne and Chanel McDonald will be discussing the Respect@Work reforms that were recently passed in parliament.
This webinar aims to help organisations of all sizes to understand the implications of the newly passed Respect at Work Act. This legislation implements recommendations from the Respect@Work Report, following the National Inquiry into Sexual Harassment in Australian Workplaces.
The webinar will cover the key changes and legal obligations that organisations need to be aware of, including the new positive duty to eliminate sexual harassment in the workplace. The positive duty applies to all organisations, including companies, not-for-profits, and sole traders, as well as to all workers, including employees, contractors, and volunteers. Organisations need to be proactive in ensuring their compliance with the new legislation and this webinar provides a comprehensive overview of what they need to know.
