Courtney is an adaptable and commercially minded Senior Legal Counsel with over 8 years’ experience, most of which has been spent working in-house within the broadcast and digital media industry. Courtney’s areas of expertise are in media risk advisory work, and general commercial matters including technology, intellectual property, marketing, and advertising matters.

Industry and career experience
Courtney has significant experience working in both private practice and in-house. Prior to joining Source, Courtney worked for Stuff, New Zealand’s largest media company, and TVNZ (the State Broadcaster). Her areas of expertise are in media (editorial vetting and risk advice), as well as technology work, commercial integration and sponsorship arrangements, and intellectual property, advertising, and marketing work.

Get to know Courtney
In her spare time, Courtney teaches yoga which is the perfect antidote to a busy week at work. She enjoys cooking and sharing meals with family and friends and will take any chance to head to the beaches in the Eastern Bay of Plenty to visit family.
Courtney loves to travel and recently spent two weeks sailing around Indonesia and Malaysia.
