Gavin is the Director of Commercial at Source, bringing his extensive international experience to support both his team and clients effectively.
As a seasoned commercial lawyer with over 25 years of experience, Gavin has worked in private practice with top international law firms in Australia, London, the Middle East, and Southeast Asia, as well as in-house roles.

Before joining Source, Gavin spent eight years with the leading Australian law firm Minter Ellison, working across Australia and Southeast Asia (Indonesia, Thailand, Singapore, Cambodia, Laos, Vietnam, Myanmar, and Hong Kong), including managing the Bangkok office.
He also spent over four years in the Middle East with Clifford Chance and Freshfields in Dubai, Abu Dhabi, and Saudi Arabia, where he led Clifford Chance’s corporate practice in Saudi Arabia and headed the corporate practice in Abu Dhabi for Al Tamimi & Company.
Additionally, Gavin has worked in-house as General Counsel and Director of Business Development for a global digital cinema technology company based in Hong Kong. His in-house experience in Australia includes roles with Origin Energy, Equifax, UBER Eats, and Holcim Australia.

Gavin enjoys staying fit and active, often spending time at the Bondi Icebergs and participating in ocean swimming. He recently accomplished a swim from Alcatraz prison in San Francisco. Having lived abroad for over 20 years, Gavin has a passion for travel and exploring new cultures. He is also an avid rugby union fan and has a keen interest in film.
