He has led complex M&A matters and has experience in a variety of industries including construction, infrastructure, resources and energy and technology.
“My legal career has taken me all over the world and provided me with incredibly rewarding and diverse experiences across a number of industries. I am passionate about approaching the law from my clients’ perspective, and working on significant, strategic transactions that drive successful change for my clients.
Throughout my career I have enjoyed working in private practice at international law firms, as well as in in-house General Counsel roles. I’ve had the opportunity to work on ground-breaking initiatives, such as when I acted for Macquarie Bank in the Middle East, negotiating and establishing the first PPP project in Abu Dhabi.
I find it very satisfying to work with my clients on complex transactions, such as when I was seconded to SingTel Optus to assist with the outsourcing and roll-out of their Australian 3G network. It’s a privilege to ensure my clients get the best possible advice in a responsive, commercial manner as together we bring about significant change for their business.”
