Tom is a Senior Legal Counsel specialising in advising clients on commercial contracts and regulatory compliance within the financial services, insurance, and renewables sectors.

With extensive in-house counsel experience, Tom bring a wealth of expertise in commercial contracts, insurance law, regulatory compliance and dispute resolution. His industry knowledge spans across general insurance, renewables, and sport.

Prior to joining Source, Tom held roles in legal and compliance in the financial services sector, including positions at global financial services giant Aon and as a case analyst at the Australian Financial Complaints Authority. Notably, he served as General Counsel and Company Secretary for Basketball Australia in the lead-up to the 2021 Olympic Games and FIBA Women’s World Cup.

Tom is a published author and stand-up comedian who has performed all over Australia, including at the Melbourne International Comedy Festival and Adelaide Fringe. He spent all of 2023 traveling around Australia in a campervan with his wife and son, experiencing as much of this enormous, staggering country as we possibly could.
