Helen-Anne is a Senior Legal Consultant advising businesses on best practices and specialising in employment law and industrial relations.

With significant experience in employment and work, health, and safety, Helen-Anne provides clients with grounded, practical and commercially-focused advice.

 

“With over fifteen years in the corporate world, I am well acquainted with advising C-Suite and senior managers on employment-related corporate risks, governance and compliance. I have extensive experience in solutioning commercially acceptable outcomes requiring utilisation of not only my employment expertise, but also my commercial and corporate knowledge. 

Having worked previously as General Counsel for a global labour hire organisation and continuing to advise other labour-intensive industries, I am comfortable working on complex employment relationships including MSP’s and RPO’s, acquisitions, divestments and other more common employment issues and disputes.

In each matter, my philosophy is to achieve a commercially acceptable outcome for my clients, underpinned by solid practical legal advice.

Prior to moving in-house, Helen-Anne worked in private practice for over 5 years at Carroll and O’Dea lawyers, specialising in Employment and Work Health and Safety law.

  • Legal Practical Training Conversion – College of Law Sydney
  • Bachelor of Laws – Edinburgh University
  • Diploma of Legal Practice – Edinburgh University
  • Bachelor of Commerce – Edinburgh Napier University
  • Admitted as a Solicitor in Scotland
  • Admitted as a Solicitor in England and Wales
  • Admitted as a Solicitor in NSW and the High Court of Australia

Helen-Anne has three active and easy-travelling children who all love going back to her home country of Scotland to visit family and learn about its history. In her spare time, Helen-Anne enjoys football, cycling and skiing trips with her family.
