Stanislav is the founder and managing director of Source. An innovative thinker, exceptional commercial lawyer and pioneer in the legal industry, Stanislav leads the Source team and continues to evolve Source into a market leader.
“I founded Source Legal in 2011 after working as a general counsel in a large company and realising that a good legal department can really become a true partner and add a lot of value to a business. When I saw that most businesses don’t have access to quality legal services because of their size, I decided to replicate a well-run legal department, but to make it available for smaller and mid-sized companies.
I created a model akin to what good in-house lawyers do – which is being fast, responsive, practical, decisive and simple in the way we communicate and solve problems.
I am passionate about value-based pricing. Our pricing is all about the client, not about us or our time. We ask ourselves the question. ‘What are our services worth to this clients in view of their size, stage of their business, complexity of their operations, and ongoing needs for support?’ We always agree the price with the client upfront.
I firmly believe that Source is leading the way of the future with our model of providing high quality unlimited professional support on a monthly retainer basis.
My passion now is on continuing to develop Source and create even more value for our people and our clients.”

Stanislav has over 20 years of experience as a a commercial lawyer. Stanislav has particular expertise in the construction, engineering, energy, infrastructure, mining services and labour hire industries.

Prior to establishing Source, Stanislav worked in senior in-house legal roles with leading multinational engineering, energy and construction companies, including Alstom, Areva and Lend Lease.
