Senior Compliance Manager

Elizabeth has over 20 years of experience as a regulatory lawyer and senior compliance manager across the financial services industry, banking, ASIC, and ACCC regulatory environments.

She is passionate about fostering a culture of compliance at companies and financial services providers in an environment of continuing regulatory and legislative change.

“I ensure businesses understand the “why”, not only the “how” of compliance and regulatory obligations. This ensures businesses understand that Compliance is an integral component in ensuring a successful and well performing business in a competitive marketplace.

I also value training, supporting, and mentoring up-and-coming lawyers and other compliance professionals.”

 

Industry and career experience

Elizabeth has extensive knowledge, experience, and insight into ASIC’s regulatory oversight of Australian financial service licensees, credit licensees, financial advisors, financial services and products compliance, funds management, custodians, platform and MDA operators, IPOs and other corporate fundraising, takeovers and other control transactions, corporate governance, and capital markets.

Prior to joining Source, Elizabeth worked at Westpac, the Australian Securities and Investments Commission (ASIC) and the Australian Competition and Consumer Commission (ACCC).

  • Master of Law and Legal Practice – University of Technology, Sydney
  • Bachelor of Economics – University of Sydney
