Legal Counsel - Commercial

Angela is a Legal Counsel with significant experience in commercial law, litigation, and regulation.

Having worked as an inhouse legal advisor for several years, Angela is confident and decisive on her feet with a wide range of stakeholders, from executives and board members to project managers and frontline staff. Angela has developed a broad range of commercial acumen specific to the mining, engineering, and construction sectors, including contract negotiation, litigation, product commercialisation, and best practice regulation. Angela is an analytical thinker and creative problem solver.

“I pride myself on becoming a trusted advisor to my clients. I want my clients to feel fully informed of commercial risks and benefits. Providing them with clear and practical advice assists them to make confident business decisions”.

Prior to joining Source, Angela worked for a mining industry regulator, a major defence force contractor, and a large multinational electrical engineering firm. She also previously worked in the people resources profession for many years.

In her spare time Angela enjoys spending time outdoors with her daughters – at the beaches in summer and bushlands in the colder months. Angela’s family is always kept busy enjoying their shared interests in sport, gardening, dance, theatre, art, reading, and science.
