Respected workplace and employment relations law specialist Nick Tindley has joined Source as Executive Director – Workplace & HR.

Nick advises employers in a wide range of industries who are looking for strategic and practical workplace advice and solutions – not only to support them in complying with their legal obligations, but also to set them up for success in how they manage their workforces.

He has extensive experience in the retail industry, as well as other award-covered industries including, hospitality, community services and health and allied services.

Prior to joining Source, Nick held a dual role at Citation Group (formerly FCB Group) as Executive Manager of Citation HR and Law Partner with Citation Legal. Nick was also the Director of the National Retail Association’s Employment Law Division for many years.

Nick said he was attracted to the Source service model and how it offered businesses a range of flexible, tailored solutions to help them navigate risk and unlock their growth potential.

“The way Source operates really appeals to me. We’re able to be agile and responsive to a client’s specific needs – whether it’s support on a one-off project, supplementing in-house expertise, or contributing our experience to a longer-term change management initiative.”

He added: “I love working with great clients and getting to know their people, operations, and business direction. Having that understanding means you’re better placed to give advice and recommend proactive strategies that will help them build business resilience and thrive.”

Nick’s appointment follows the recent promotion of Erin Wilson to Managing Director – Workplace & HR at Source.

Source CEO Karthik Venkataraman said Nick joins a team of exceptional professionals at Source.

“Nick is an example of the calibre of people we have across our Source services – which covers legal, governance, regulatory compliance, HR, WHS, IP, data privacy and AI, and commercial management. As well as the way we partner with our clients, it’s the range and combination of legal and non-legal services that really sets us apart.”
