We’re thrilled to celebrate Shauna Mounsey’s inclusion in the 2024 Australasian Lawyer Elite Women list – a prestigious accolade recognising standout women in the legal industry across Australia and New Zealand.

Australasian Lawyer undertook an extensive, four-month review process to identify industry leaders, and Shauna’s unique approach and passion for law earned her a well-deserved spot on this highly regarded list.

Shauna, a senior legal counsel at Source, describes her career path as unconventional, “but being unconventional has served me well,” says Shauna. “It is also very humbling to be nominated by my peers as I wouldn’t be able to have the balance of a career and a life without the support of a great team.”

Chris Sweeney, Australasian Lawyer’s Managing Editor for Special Reports, said the nominees were “an impressive cohort of inspirational women, leading and influencing the legal profession across Australia.” He praised Shauna’s “passion for the law, outstanding expertise, and ability to connect with clients” as qualities that set her apart.

This recognition reaffirms Shauna’s commitment to excellence, and we’re proud to see her contributions to the legal profession celebrated on such a prestigious platform.

Congratulations, Shauna!
