Kathryn is a Executive Director who supports businesses with their regulatory and compliance obligations by ensuring they understand what is required of them.

Kathryn has specific experience working in risk and compliance for multiple fund managers and an investment platform.

“I aim to be an approachable representative for compliance matters, as it can be a complex area for many who have not navigated compliance before.

I cut through compliance jargon and distil important obligations into straightforward and actionable information. Through my approach, I reinforce the position that compliance is an ally of businesses and work on building a supportive compliance culture.”

Kathryn has worked for a number of public and private businesses across a variety of sectors including:

  • Funds Management
  • Superannuation
  • Investor Directed Portfolio Service (IDPS)
  • Commercial and Industrial Property


Prior to her career in compliance, Kathryn used to work in Operations for fund managers that provided unitised schemes and managed accounts. She believes this gives her practical experience on the application of compliance within a business.

Qualifications

  • Graduate Diploma of Applied Finance and Investment – FINSIA
  • Diploma of Financial Markets – Securities Institute of Australia
  • Compliance Essentials – Financial Educational Professionals


Get to know Kathryn

Kathryn loves her work and values the training, support and mentoring she has given to people over her career. Outside her work, she is a dedicated mother to her children aged 11 and 13.

Kathryn enjoys getting outdoors and will play a good team sport like basketball or take her dog for a long walk for some fresh air. You can also find her cooking up a storm in the kitchen to feed her nearest and dearest. Kathryn’s most memorable holiday was two months travelling around Australia in a caravan with her family, mainly exploring the Northern Territory and Queensland.
